Under the direction of the Director, Planned Giving, the Development Assistant will provide general administrative and project support for the Planned Giving program, as well as certain aspects of the Leadership Gifts program. Responsibilities include drafting correspondence and acknowledgement letters, generating planned gift proposals and calculations, maintaining electronic donor records, document filing and scanning, managing the logistics for large mailings, and maintaining relevant sections of the Museum’s website. Will coordinate logistics for all Planned Giving-related stewardship and cultivation events throughout the year and process RSVPs for these and other departmental events. Will respond to Planned Giving program inquiries and review incoming mail, assess inquiries to determine necessary staff follow-up, and monitor same.

35 hours/week; Mon-Fri, 9:00am-5:00pm.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, along with 1 to 3 years of office experience preferred. Excellent organizational and communication skills, great attention to detail, and solid computer skills required.
