Development & Fundraising Internship

Description:
The Cambridge Art Association (CAA) is seeking an intern to assist with development and fundraising related activities for Fall 2015. Internships at the the CAA are hands-on and immersive. The Gallery Development intern will work with the Assistant Director to facilitate CAA’s membership program. The Development & Fundraising intern responsibilities will include: Database research and organization; creating spreadsheets and other materials; and other development-related activities.

The intern should be detail orientated and interested in the local/regional visual arts sector, eager to learn more about small visual arts organizations, and comfortable working with the general public.

10-15 hours per week, Tuesday through Friday preferred

Qualifications:
• Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program, preferably in a visual arts or arts administration program.

• Interest in the arts and working with artists required.

• Proficiency in working with MACs, Microsoft Office Suite and experience with File Maker Pro
