Description:
The Armenian Museum of America is seeking a Program and Administrative Coordinator who will be responsible for all aspects of the museum’s programming efforts as well as administrative duties. This position calls for an individual with strong multitasking skills to provide a wide range of administrative functions and ensure efficient operations of the museum office; strong and creative marketing skills with a creative approach to driving membership, presenting programs, and overall office and admin know-how and skills; and the ability to identify problems and find creative solutions. Responsibilities will include handling the museum’s membership/outreach, marketing and general administration duties, as well as coordinating all public programs including exhibit openings and lectures.
Qualifications:
Qualifications: BA or Associates degree with 3+ years of marketing or administrative experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong reporting skills with attention to detail; solid organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines; the ability to work independently and manage changing priorities with efficient time management. MS Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop and email marketing software experience necessary. PastPerfect , Dreamweaver/Quark express, website maintenance and familiarity with Quickbooks a plus. Experience working in museum or non-profit environment preferred.
