Annual Ship Model Show Reception

Please join us on Tuesday, December 15 from 5 – 7pm for the USS Constitution Museum’s annual Ship Model Show Reception to celebrate the Masters of Miniature.

The 37th Annual USS Constitution Model Shipwright Guild Model Show features 75 exquisite ship models and a number of marine paintings by members of the American Society of Marine Artists (ASMA).

Meet the masters of miniature and the ASMA artists in person and listen to what Robin A. Neill, who built a model of the Liberty ship Jeremiah O’Brien, has to say about those famous Liberty Ships.

The reception is from 5 pm until 7 pm at the USS Constitution Museum, feel free to bring a friend.

Please note light reception fare will be available. Discounted parking available at the Nautica Garage; please bring your parking ticket with you for validation.

The reception is free of charge. We do, however, request you RSVP by December 13. Via email at rsvp@usscm.org or by phone at 617-426-1812 ext. 167

…But wait, there’s more!

The Model Ship Show is no up and running through January 2nd. Masters of Miniature features over 50 model ships, handmade by modern model makers, and each one different from the last. You can either wander through and check out the ships on your own time, or you can check out the Constitution Museum’s calendar for special programs.
