Education Internship

Museum Education Interns will work closely with Castle in the Clouds staff and assist with the implementation of large scale public programs, family education programs at Historic Lucknow, and school and camp programs. Additionally, the Museum Education Intern will have the opportunity to research, design and run his/her own family education program. The Museum Education Intern should seek to gain skills in non-traditional education, museum programming, and/or public history. We are seeking an individual who possesses strong interpersonal skills, can write effectively, think creatively and multi-task. Interns should be current students or recent graduates from an accredited college or university. Internships will last for 12 weeks. The Education Intern should expect to work 12-16 hours (two days) a week, with occasional weekend and evening hours. Hours may be flexible, depending on the intern’s work schedule. The ideal candidate will have a background in education, history, museum studies or a related field. Internships are unpaid, but we will work with academic institutions to provide school credit.
