Description

Description: Full-time position working in the Museum’s Education & Exhibits Department. The Assistant Curator of Youth and Adult Education performs a variety of duties in support of Museum learning specializing in youth education (on-site and off-site, pre-K through 12th grade) and adult education (including films, lectures, and art making in support of exhibit themes.)  Support of volunteer program, including coordinating some educational opportunities for volunteers.

Requirements

Requirements:  B.A. required; M.A. in Art, Education, or a related field preferred.  Three years direct experience in education program management. Experience with diverse audiences and learning situations.  Demonstrated creativity and experience in making art accessible through participatory programs. Spanish language skills a plus.  Ability to keep track of details and organize large quantities of information.  Must be computer literate with experience using Microsoft Windows/Office products or similar operating system.
