Grant Writer [Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, Boothbay, ME]

Responsible for writing proposals for foundations and individuals for both unrestricted operating revenue and restricted projects and for submitting timely and accurate reports for all existing grant funded projects. Writing responsibilities include stewardship and cultivation activities as well. Requires at least two years grant writing experience, preferably with a non-profit organization. Ability to write clear, structured, articulate and persuasive proposals. Ability to work well in a team environment, handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Knowledge of fundraising techniques, strategies and research. The mission of Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens is to inspire meaningful connections among people, plants, and nature through horticulture, education and research.
