The Currier Museum of Art seeks a part time Internal Events Coordinator, reporting to the Director of Development, to organize and execute the museum’s member, donor, business partner, volunteer and employee events and assist the Events Manager with large external events and wedding ceremonies.  The Internal Events Coordinator will coordinate all aspects of the event, including budget, theme, date and timeline, audience, invitations, mailings and RSVP lists, floor plans, food and beverage, floral, rentals and AV.  The successful candidate will work with cross-departmental museum staff, volunteers, trustees, advisory council members, and other museum stakeholders to develop an event calendar to attract new visitors and members to the museum and to enrich their Currier experience.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree preferred, with 3-5 years event experience.  Excellent organizational skills, with a high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.  Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary.  Effective interpersonal and relationship management skills with a demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding customer service.  Prior experience working with volunteer leadership and committees.  Familiarity with audio-visual equipment. Ability to work evenings and weekends as required for events.
