Education Manager****

The Washington Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA|DC)
seeks a qualified individual to fill its Education Manager position.  This
individual is responsible for all aspects of the Chapter¹s professional
education program, including management of the program budget and work
plan, working with committees to develop specific content, scheduling
classes and submitting education paperwork and credits.  This individual
will also be responsible for all educational aspects of DesignDC, the
Chapter¹s three-day educational conference.  The Education Manager works
closely with Chapter committees, the Executive Director and the Public
Education Manager to coordinate the Chapter¹s and the District Architecture
Center¹s total education plan.****

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES****

**€       **Oversee programs to ensure quality; including program delivery,
scheduling, and thematic development.****

**€       **Work with Education Committee to develop specific content****

**€       **Executes program budget and work plan.****

**€       **Responsible for planning, tracking and reporting on program
deliverables.****

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS****

**€       **Experience managing educational programs; including managing
budgets and work plans.****

**€       **Specific education and/or understanding of topics related to
architecture and the built environment.****

**€       **Strong computer, organizational and time management skills.****

**€       **Self directed; able to work independently and in a team.****

Available immediately.  Salary range $50K – $60K; the Chapter also has full
benefits package including medical insurance, disability insurance, IRA
