The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is searching for a Coordinator of Volunteers for Museum Ambassadors.
This position is responsible for ensuring volunteer support for all volunteer positions in the non-gallery specific, public areas of the Museum.
The coordinator is also responsible for cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with all Museum volunteers
to enhance the retention of unpaid staff.

The candidate must be able to communicate courteously and proactively; promote customer focus in team members and develop partnerships;
prioritize multiple projects and carry out responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Successful candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills; innovative problem solving and conflict resolution skills;
knowledge of non-profit organizations and the value of volunteers; strong computer skills; college degree and at least one year of
customer service experience. Candidates must also have at minimum a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 1 year professional
experience in customer service. Candidates must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays and must also be able to pass
drug screening and background check.
