*School Curriculum Manager*

– Manages all aspects of the Museum’s partnerships with schools, local
and statewide, and education organizations including cultivating new
partnerships that position the museum as a partner in teaching and
learning

– Develops curriculum, media, and other resources that supports
classroom learning in a range of subject areas including social studies,
literature, science, art, and music.****
– Ensures all student on-site tours, programs and materials support
classroom learning ****
– Develops and promotes educator workshops, institutes, and professional
development programs, including a Distance Learning Program****

*Family Programs Manager*

– Oversee the planning, development, implementation, and assessment of
all Museum activities for families and youth ****
– Develop programs designed for families and youth to ensure continual
offerings throughout the year and during peak times****
– Develops resources and materials to increase families’ understanding
and appreciation of Museum exhibitions and film programs****
– Cultivates partnerships with local and state community, civic,
education, and cultural organizations to support family and youth
communities****

*Education Programs Coordinator*

**·         **Supports Education Department staff in the development,
coordination, implementation, and evaluation of select Museum programs,
including large-scale events such as exhibit openings****

**·         **Plans, implements, and evaluates offerings for select
audiences depending on need, time of year, and institutional commitments****

**·         **As schedule dictates, assists the Deputy Director with
special projects related to museum operations****

*The Bullock Texas State History Museum (TSHM)*

Located in Austin’s Capitol Complex, the TSHM features three floors of
exhibits, interactive computer displays, films, and theaters including an
IMAX® Theatre.  Temporary exhibits focus on Texas history, culture, and
