The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is seeking a full time Assistant School Programs Coordinator. This position involves teaching dynamic, student-centered, interactive programs to mostly students pre-K to 8th grade at DMNS and throughout the Rocky Mountain region.  Teaching assignments include all aspects of Museum Programs occurring at the Museum, offsite, and virtually.

Candidates must be available to work a variety of hours and days, including evenings and weekends and must be available to travel on overnight trips of up to one week in length. Candidates need to have at minimum a BA/BS with emphasis in science or education and one year teaching/education/performance experience. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.  Previous experience in teaching K-12 students and a variety of audience sizes and ages preferred. Must currently possess, or be able to obtain, a valid Colorado State driver’s license. Reliable access to a dependable, insured, and privately-owned vehicle is necessary.
