The American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) seeks an After School Program Coordinator with a strong background in science, and experience with coordinating youth programs. The Coordinator will be responsible for the daily coordination of multiple afterschool courses for high school youth, and managing the year-round application and registration process for more than 40 courses, serving more than 300 youth.

Day-to-day responsibilities include: creating program applications, accepting youth, and corresponding with youth for program; daily setup/cleanup of multiple classrooms with teaching materials; supporting course instructors as needed; maintaining program supplies, and keeping inventory; assisting with developing statistical reports of course taking patterns; working with staff from multiple departments in the Museum to ensure program success; and assisting with other youth programming as necessary.

Applicants must have a BS in science or related field, experience coordinating and managing youth programs, preferably in informal settings, and excellent organization and communication skills.
