Description:
Reporting to the Director of Development, this position is responsible for developing, producing and tracking digital marketing and fundraising communications that enhance awareness of Shelburne Museum’s programs and services and generate increased museum attendance, new contributions and increased net revenue for the museum.

Skills and Abilities:
Major duties of this position include, but are not limited to, planning, writing, distribution and analysis of e-mails and other web based marketing materials(social media posts, web ads, etc.); monitoring quality and content of all digital communications; and working closely with other staff involved in data management to ensure smooth interface of e-mail and donor tracking databases.

The Digital Marketing Manager must have the ability to adapt strategies, tactics and technologies in order to stay current in an ever evolving marketing environment. The ideal candidate should be a goal-orientated writer with professional knowledge of marketing analytics and e-mail marketing software. Must be able to work collaboratively within a team.

Requirements:
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and two to four years of relevant experience in a marketing environment with a solid portfolio of marketing communications-style writing. Email marketing and social media marketing experience and experience with marketing analytics (Google analytics, etc.) required. HTML experience, website administration experience, experience with user databases and/or experience with e-mail platform transitions preferred. Experience working with Raisers’ Edge, Salesforce, or similar databases also preferred.
