The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston invites applications for the position of assistant curator of European paintings. The successful candidate will aid in overall operation of the department, including collecting, exhibiting, preserving, and interpreting works of art; and in the cultivation of donors.
Qualifications:
We seek an individual with a Ph.D. or equivalent experience, and with a proven record of scholarly excellence and administrative ability. Applications are especially sought from candidates with expertise in nineteenth-century French painting. A breadth of knowledge and experience, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
