Paid cataloging internship available (100 hours @$10/hour) for detail oriented

individual to take photographs and create catalog records for archaeological

and ethnographic artifacts using PastPerfect Museum Software. Work must

be completed between March – June of 2015, working one or two days a week

between 9am-2pm. The Robert S. Peabody Museum is one of the nation’s major

repositories of Native American archaeological collections. Major collections

include materials from the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Southwest, Mexico,

and the Arctic, and range from Paleoindian (10,000+ years ago) to the present

day. Please consider applying if you have a background in archaeology,

CORI and SORI forms as well as well as undergoing fingerprinting as required by

MA law prior to work at the museum.
