Hi Tufts students! We’d like to talk to a few of you about one of our online services. For your time (an hour or less), we’ll give you $10 in Jumbocash.

Need a journal article or book chapter that’s not available online, but too busy to come to the Library? With Tisch’s scan & deliver service, even when we own an item we’ll scan it and email it to you. If we don’t own it, we’ll arrange to have delivered to you from another library. Join us on 11.06, 3:30-5:30 PM, Hirsh Reading Room, for Tufts Alum Barbara Delinsky’s Author Talk. Delinsky has authored 21 New York Times best-selling novels, including her most recent, critically-acclaimed book, Sweet Salt Air. Her fiction centers on everyday families facing not-so-everyday challenges. A book signing and reception will follow the talk.
The library will open a few hours later on Columbus Day, October 14th. Our hours will be from 10am – 1am.
On June 17, 2004, a missile ripped through a small town in Pakistan marking the beginning of American drone warfare in the region. An exhibit of postcards and letters written by students in Pakistan and at Tufts regarding the use of these drones will be on display in the Tower Art Gallery through October 31st.
Join us on October 4th, 4-5:30 PM, in the Hirsh Reading Room for Daniel Dennett’s author talk, Intuition Pumps and Other Tools for Thinking Dennett, a Tufts professor and the Co-Director of the Center for Cognitive Studies, explores philosophies of mind, science, and biology.
