About Tufts Nutrition
Tufts Nutrition, the twice-yearly magazine of the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy and the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging (HNRCA), is produced by the Tufts University Office of Publications.
The magazine strives to explain and put in context the latest nutrition research from Friedman School faculty, HNRCA researchers, students and alumni while sharing their professional and often personal perspectives on the food, hunger and poverty issues that challenge the United States and the world.
Here you will find a window into the wide breadth of nutrition endeavors at Tufts, from micronutrient studies in the lab to obesity-prevention initiatives in U.S. schools to food aid program monitoring around the globe.
Most of our stories are consumer-oriented, geared toward a lay audience of people who are nutrition conscious, environmentally aware or just scientifically curious. But even researchers may discover new facets of nutrition, and avenues of collaboration, that are ready to be explored.
