Celebrations and Familiar Faces
Mark your calendars for a reception at the American Society of Nutrition meeting in Baltimore this June.
This fall, my fellow alumni of the Frances Stern program and I honored Frances Stern’s legacy and celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Frances Stern Nutrition Center. Alumni, faculty, and friends gathered at events in Washington, D.C., and Boston to reminisce and commemorate the occasion.
The Friedman School also celebrated its fortieth anniversary this fall, and presented the inaugural Jean Mayer Prize for Excellence in Nutrition Science and Policy. The award honors those who have embodied Mayer’s pursuit of a healthier world.
Annual receptions at the Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo in Washington, D.C., the American Public Health Association Annual Meeting & Expo in San Diego, and the Gerontological Society of America annual meeting in Boston brought together alumni and friends. Please mark your calendars for a reception at the American Society of Nutrition meeting in Baltimore this June.
