The OIA hosted 20 medical students from Zhejiang University in China on July 26. Founded in 1897, Zhejiang University is one of China’s oldest institutions of higher education. It is located in Hanzhou, Zhejiang Province, close to Shanghai. Following a working session over lunch in the OIA office, the students were taken on a tour of the Boston campus of Tufts University.

Welcome! Office of International Affairs News & Views is our new blog dedicated to keeping you up to date on news and other information important to those the office (OIA) serves.

Our “audience” includes international medical graduates, practicing physicians, medical students and other professionals – both those already participating in the education and training programs offered through Tufts University School of Medicine (TUSM) and its affiliated hospitals, and those looking to do so.

We also aim to inform the international government, education and medical institutions that partner with us in bringing international candidates into TUSM programs – and those for which we provide services abroad – as well as the larger Tufts University School of Medicine community.

For more information about TUSM opportunities for international candidates and the services the OIA provides, please visit us online, or contact us directly.

All of us at OIA look forward to carrying on what we hope will be an illuminating conversation with you in the weeks and months ahead.
