Our Services

Tufts Animal Behavior Clinic offers numerous avenues for owners to obtain help with their pet’s behavior problems, including owners who live too far away to travel for a traditional appointment.

  • In-person consultation. Owners meet with one of our behaviorists at Tufts Animal Behavior Clinic for a 1.5 hour consultation. Six months of follow-up consultations are included in the cost.
  • Vetfax consultation. This remote consultation service is available for veterinarians who seek the expertise of a specialist in treating their patient’s behavioral needs. Owner and veterinarian provide Dr. Dodman with a written behavioral history, and the referring veterinarian is provided with a written response outlining possible diagnoses and treatment options. The fax # is (800) 829-5690.
  • Petfax consultations are available to owners who would like to communicate with a non-veterinary behaviorist directly. Owners provide Nicole Cottam with a written behavioral history, and in turn are provided with written protocol to address the problem behavior. A six-month follow up period is included with the service. Nicole works closely with pet owners during a six-month followup period to address ongoing treatment questions or concerns that may arise.
