Born and raised in southwest Texas, Sarah May’s early years helped shape many of her artistic perspectives on the ideas of stories, histories, layers, and communication. Now, as an artist and educator, Sarah May works with and for young people as an advocate for the valuable role of the arts in the lives of children of all ages.
