Public Transport Directions


If you are coming by subway, or "T", take the MBTA Red Line to the Davis Square Station. Exit the Davis Square Station on the College Avenue side. You may take the #94 or #96 bus or walk 15 minutes along College Avenue to the Tufts campus. If you board the bus, ask the driver to stop at the intersection of Curtis Street and Boston Avenue. If you walk, turn right out of the subway station and follow College Avenue around a traffic circle. The Tufts Campus will be on your left.

Logan Airport or South Station

Board the airport shuttle bus to the Airport subway stop on the MBTA Silver Line. The airport shuttle is free. Take the Silver Line to South Station; then change to the Red Line outbound to the Davis Square Station. 

South Station

Board the Red Line of the subway and take it to Davis Square Station and refer to directions in the preceding paragraph to walk or take the bus to the Tufts campus.

Davis Square Station

Exit the subway on the College Avenue side. You may take the #94 or #96 bus or walk 15 minutes along College Avenue to the Tufts campus. The MBTA bus costs $1.50. If you board the bus, ask the driver to stop at the intersection of Curtis Street and Boston Avenue. If you walk, turn right out of the subway station and follow College Avenue around a traffic circle. The Tufts campus will be on your left.

The Tufts Shuttle Bus is free and picks up riders across from the Holland Street exit of the Davis Square subway stop approximately every 20 minutes starting at 7:00 a.m. The shuttle makes five to six stops, one of which is in front of the Olin Center, just past The Fletcher School's Cabot Intercultural Center. Parking:

There is ample parking available in the University's main parking garage (Dowling Parking Garage) at 419 Boston Avenue. Visitors must purchase a token ($5.00) to exit the garage. The entrances to the garage are from North Hill Road and from Boston Avenue. The garage is open from 6 AM to 12 midnight and closed on holidays and weekends. Overnight parking is not allowed in the garage.

Once you have parked, its a 5 minute walk to the venue. Exit the parking garage on the ground floor, make a left on Boston Ave, walk up, and make another left on Winthrop Street. Walking directions from the Tufts garage to Winthrop are here.
