Can a widget be the main content focus?

So, I’m setting up this blog, and what I really want is a theme that can pull my feed of links in from Diigo. This was the only theme I could find where I could make that feed the main (ie largest) content area, so I think this might be the theme for me (though it’s not perfect, alas.) If you know of another theme where the blog posts can go in the sidebar & widgets can occupy the main content area, please let me know.
