On this site you will find useful information regarding the slide library at Tufts University as well as other resources for students and researchers.
The slide library consists of a large collection of 35mm slides, lantern slides, and printed images, all of which have been used for teaching throughout the years. The collection is maintained by the Art History department, particularly the Visual Resources Center managed by Chris Cavalier. The images contained on the slides range from painting, sculpture and architecture to photographs, textiles, and ceramics of many countries and time periods.
At the top of the page you will find tabs that will take you to a map of the slide library with information on what each cabinet holds and a visual map to help you find what you need in the collection. We invite you to explore this website to see what the Slide Library offers and the other resources that have been complied for your use.
