Our wonderful collaborators in the Kaplan Group in the Biomedical Engineering Department at Tufts have just published a new paper which our group PI Tim Atherton is a co-author on. The work presents the work of graduate student Amy Hopkins et al. who has been looking at new soft materials—hydrogels made with Silk—as a […]
We’re delighted to announce that our new paper has been published as a Rapid Communication in Physical Review E. This paper is the first fruit of our collaboration with James Adler of the Mathematics department here at Tufts. James is an expert in numerical methods, which we’ve brought to bear on a difficult […]
A new paper that we’ve contributed to has just been published in Applied Physics Letters, describing how specially patterned surfaces prepared by Melik Demirel’s Biointerface Engineering group at Penn State can guide the direction of neuronal growth. This work was principally performed by Cristian Staii‘s experimental biophysics group at Tufts. Our contribution to the […]
Our latest paper has just been published in the journal Physical Review E. This is a collaboration with Doug Cleaver of Sheffield Hallam University in the United Kingdom and Candy Anquetil-Deck of Das Karlsruher Institut für Technologie in Germany.
This paper is also available as a preprint on the ArXiV.
Our new paper, a collaborative project with Rolfe Petschek and Joe Lesnefsky at Case Western Reserve University, appears today in the Journal of the Optical Society of America B. The work studies the issue of designing molecules with high nonlinear optical response by adjusting their electronic structure.
A preprint is also available on […]
