Suggested Uses

A Spark map is simply a collection of points and data associated with each point built using Google Maps technology. When you create a new map you specify it name and the data you want the user to provide as each point is added. For a map about restaurants you might add variables for the name, a rating, and your favorite dish. After you click on the map to specify the location of a restaurant a window will pop-up asking for the name, rating, and favorite dish. Later you could add additional variables. For example you might add one indicating if the restaurant takes reservations and another for their phone number. You could create another map that contains information on individual trees. This map might have variables for tree type, size, condition and miscellaneous notes.
