Tea Tasting at the Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse
Savor a tea tasting at the famed Dushanbe Teahouse with ethnobotanist Selena Ahmed. Ahmed studied tea in China’s Yunnan Province, drinking as many as 30 cups a day! She is an expert on the effects of climate change on tea quality and is coauthor of The Tea Horse Road: China’s Ancient Trade Road to Tibet. Completely built by hand, the beautiful and intricate teahouse was constructed in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, as a gift to its sister city, Boulder.
