Oct. 1 Reducing Energy Bills in Older Buildings with Limited Budgets Workshop

When: Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011

Where: First Church at 11 Garden St., Cambridge MA

Marc Rosenbaum, Award-winning Building Systems Analyst, will be speaking at this hands-on case study, which will teach participants how to develop realistic long-term plans to bring older buildings into the 21st century while considering limited budgets, mixed uses, moisture, ventilation, and preservation. Energy efficiency incentives and innovative fundraising/financing options will be explained.  This workshop is set within historic First Church of Cambridge for hands-on learning and team-work, not just lecture.

The instructor, Marc Rosenbaum, is widely respected as a great presenter who really knows how to make buildings work better. It’s common for over 100 people to pay $225 or more for single-day workshop to learn from Marc; at $75 this is a great deal for a great cause.

The program sounds really interesting, re – use or making the old buildings suitable for use now and in future is really a great thought.
There are numerous old buildings round the world, most of them are not at all suitable for use, and some are treated as heritage buildings. So if these buildings can be re – used by making necessary changes then it will very good.

    Great thought Marc Rosenbaum….
