Hosted by the College and University Recycling Coalition (CURC), this webinar will identify ways to maximize efficiencies through processing equipment and vehicles; discuss which types of trucks are best suited to collect which materials; evaluate the pros and cons of different types of processing equipment; and review the factors driving the decision process to purchase or contract out vehicles and equipment necessary for pre-processing, bailing and processing materials.
Columbia College Chicago’s (IL) Department of Campus Safety and Security is seeking applications for two environmental health and safety coordinators. The position will develop and coordinate the college’s environmental health and safety programs; assist with the development of safety programs to meet local, state and federal guidelines; and serve as an expert liaison with all safety and code related departments of the city and all related federal agencies. Successful candidates will have a minimum of a four-year degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental discipline or an equivalent field of study and at least three years of experience with an emphasis in environmental, health and safety program management and employee training.
