Columbia College Chicago’s (IL) Department of Campus Safety and Security is seeking applications for two environmental health and safety coordinators. The position will develop and coordinate the college’s environmental health and safety programs; assist with the development of safety programs to meet local, state and federal guidelines; and serve as an expert liaison with all safety and code related departments of the city and all related federal agencies. Successful candidates will have a minimum of a four-year degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental discipline or an equivalent field of study and at least three years of experience with an emphasis in environmental, health and safety program management and employee training.
