Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) seeks a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual for the position of Energy Retrofit Data Analysis Intern in Boston, Massachusetts. The Intern will provide data analysis and research support to assist in analyzing the achievements of the Boston LISC Green Retrofit Initiative, and the LEAN Multifamily utility funded energy conservation program, and provide other data analysis support. Other tasks may include troubleshooting data problems in WegoWise, a residential energy use tracking database, and following up with building owners to ensure proper documentation of the energy upgrades to the properties. The intern will compile the results into a final report and presentation to be delivered by the end of the summer. LISC will provide training on the WegoWise database, types of data available, and the overall retrofit initiative, but the Intern will be expected to work independently on the data analysis and must have prior database, research and analysis experience. The retrofit data project, will be the Intern’s primary responsibility, but if time allows, the intern may be able to engaged in other LISC work.
