Tufts Gets Green

The City of Cambridge is seeking an intern in its Parking and Transportation Department. The TP&T intern’s main priority will be working on the City’s Bike Rack installation program. This will involve helping select locations in the city that warrant new bike racks (mostly on city sidewalks), creating work orders for each round of installation, mapping locations in gis, photographing and documenting racks, managing contractor, and monitoring the bike racks being installed in the field. The intern will also assist the engineering and transportation planning functions of the department. Hours: Flexible. Up to 37.5 hours/week.
