Director, Institute for Sustainable Global Enterprise, University of Michigan (Ann Arbor)

The Program Director will be responsible for oversight and responsibility for day-to-day affairs of the Institute, performance and cohesiveness of Institute staff, clarity and efficiency of operations, strong relationships with internal and external constituencies, and sound financial management. In consultation with the Faculty Director, develop and refine strategies and programs to achieve the missions and goals of the Institute. Work closely with prospective and existing students to ensure continuous improvement of high-quality educational programming and support services. Provide the leadership to maintain an effective External Advisory Board (EAB), Strategic Advisory Council (SAC) for the benefit of both the Institute and board/council membership. Provide operational and strategic leadership support to the Faculty Director and Associate Directors and associated faculty in carrying out the mission of the Institute.

Sustainability Director, Willamette University (Salem, OR)

Willamette University is pleased to announce an open position for a Sustainability Institute Director. Under the supervision of the Sustainability Executive Committee (SEC), chaired by the dean of the College of Liberal Arts, the Sustainability Institute Director will have primary responsibility for coordinating administrative, academic and communications efforts related to Zena Forest and Farm and the university’s other ongoing programmatic commitments to sustainability.

The position will take place mid-late June through December, at 20 hours per week; $10 per hour. Temporary Land Use Planner (Boston, MA)

The Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC), the regional planning agency for Metro Boston, seeks two full-time, temporary (up to one year) Land Use Planners with experience and knowledge in the fields of economic development and/or housing to help achieve the goals of its long-range regional plan,MetroFuture.
