Environmental Interpretation Internship – US Fish and Wildlife Service (Laurel, MD)

Salary: $98-$156 per week (20-32 hours per week) intern stipend.

Location:U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Patuxent Research Refuge, Laurel, Maryland – duty station will be located in Fairfax County, VA.

Dates of employment: August 1, 2013 – June 15th, 2014 (dates are negotiable).

Qualifications: Must have well-developed written and oral communication skills and leadership ability; be able to work independently and as part of a team; experience working with both children and adults. A Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing) in education, natural resources, or related field is desired. A working knowledge of computer programs such as Excel, Word, Power Point necessary. Social Marketing interest a plus. A valid driver’s is license necessary. Applications must be received by June 6, 2013.
