Parsons Brinckerhoff is a global consulting firm assisting public and private clients to plan, develop, design, construct, operate and maintain thousands of critical infrastructure projects around the world. Parsons Brinckerhoff’s Boston, MA office has an immediate need for a Mid-Level Environmental Planner. Candidates should have a background in the National Environmental Policy ACT (NEPA), the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act (MEPA), and permitting, experience in transportation projects; be able to lead and support the analysis of environmental impacts; and be able to manage projects and/or tasks in a collaborative setting with multiple disciplines. GIS Teaching Fellowships, Middlebury College (VT)

The Geography Department at Middlebury College invites applicants for its GIS Teaching Fellows Program, designed to encourage the expansion of GIS instruction across the liberal arts curriculum. We seek recent doctoral recipients or advanced ABD candidates from any academic discipline who have applied GIS in their doctoral research and have demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching. Middlebury’s GIS Teaching Fellows will be appointed to a nine-month term, to begin in September 2014. In the fall semester, Fellows will assist Geography Department faculty in teaching the department’s Fundamentals of GIS course. Learn more.
