Sustainability is both an institutional commitment and a community value, exercised daily as DePauw University pursues our commitment to carbon neutrality by 2040. The Office for Sustainability seeks an individual to work with the Sustainability Director to lead day-to-day activities of the Sustainability program at DePauw. We are seeking a thoughtful, reflective individual with an understanding of the urgency of anthropogenic climate disruption and a passion for sustainable solutions that support our education mission. This position will report to and work closely with DePauw’s Sustainability Director; and will engage and empower our campus and community toward becoming more socially, economically, and environmentally just.

This individual will also manage and work on the one-acre campus farm, primarily from May to September. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to planting plants, weeding, trimming, cleaning, keeping all records for the campus farm, making plans to expand the farm, and interfacing with Bon Appetit, local food pantries, and other interested parties.
