The Sustainability Operations Coordinator is responsible for fostering a culture of sustainability at Texas A&M University. This position is responsible for management and coordination of the Aggie Green Fund, a student-led majority committee, which oversees and awards up to $225,000 for environmental grants each year. The position enhances sustainability public education and outreach initiatives through a variety of platforms including social media outlets, development and implementation of programs such as the Aggie Sustainability Alliance. Assists with the Office of Sustainability’s institutional assessment and reporting goals, work with high-level campus stakeholders to accomplish sustainability objectives, and identifies new programs for development that will increase the sustainability of practices such as recycling, energy and water use, transportation, food services, procurement, and social justice.
