You do not need a degree to qualify for this position. We are looking for at least one year of specialized experience related to this position as described below: To qualify for the GS-13 level, you need to have at least one year of full time experience defined as experience conducting technical, statistical or policy analyses of environmental and/or economic impacts; AND experience managing studies evaluating the economic and environmental impact of energy efficiency and/or renewable energy regulations policies or issues. Your answers to the on-line assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:  Knowledge of the principles, theories, and practices of analyzing commercial building energy and environmental data; Knowledge of development and management of technical tools and resources used  by ENERGY STAR partner organizations; Ability to orally communicate the technical aspects of ENERGY STAR to critical stakeholder communities; Ability to examine and explain the relationship between building codes and building energy performance in writing. If you are selected, you will be required to complete a Confidential Financial Disclosure Form prior to your first day of employment and annually thereafter.   This position is designated as Low Risk and requires a background investigation. Unless an appropriate background investigation is already on record with the Office of Personnel Management, you must undergo a background investigation.
