Clean Energy Commonwealth Hearing and Rally for a Coal Free Massachusetts

Coal Free Massachusetts is working to both phase out coal by 2020 and ensure remaining demand is met only with renewables.  With the recent announcement of Brayton Point’s 2017 shut down, an upcoming hearing for bill H.2935, “An act to transition to a clean energy Commonwealth,” is a perfect opportunity for Massachusetts to declare its independence from old King Coal! Join us for a Statehouse rally  to call on the legislature and the Governor to make Massachusetts coal-free. The rally begins at 9am, followed by the hearing at 10am.
