Come help Fresh Pond’s volunteer stewards keep the Reservation healthy by eradicating this invasive weed! Garlic mustard is fast-growing, it crowds out native plants, and it puts toxins in the soil that inhibit native seeds from sprouting. It is also easy to recognize, easy to pull, and is even edible! We will provide knowledgeable leaders, gloves, tools and bags. Please wear shoes appropriate for walking off-path. (Sandals are not recommended.) These events are free and open to the public. Children are welcome in the company of an adult. Please register for each event that you plan to attend. You will receive important information on parking after you register.
