Global Greengrants Fund is a public foundation that supports grassroots activists and civil society organizations working to address environmental and social justice issues in the global south. The Deputy Director of Programs is responsible for all aspects of grantmaking, including coordinating the work and capacity building of our global network of advisors in making grants, helping to shape grantmaking strategy, evaluating the results of grantmaking and interpreting them to other staff and donors, managing staff and consultants around the world, and planning and budgeting.

This new manager level position in the Colorado State University Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) Department will report to the Director of PTS. The position is responsible for planning, developing, marketing, and implementing alternative transportation projects, programs, and policies in order to promote alternate modes of transportation, improve access to transit and enhance connectivity between and throughout the Colorado State University campuses. Alternative Transportation Programs will include, but is not exclusive to: pedestrian, bicycle, car pool, and shuttle transit and infrastructure.
The position will serve as the University’s primary contact and advocate for alternative transportation issues.
This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) 12-month live-out professional exempt position that has guaranteed funding for one year, with the hope that it can be made a permanent position before the start of AY 14-15. This position provides leadership, planning, management and administrative oversight to the University of Colorado Boulder (CU) Housing & Dining Services (HDS) sustainability education and programmatic efforts for an undergraduate community of over 6,400 students in the residence halls. The coordinator will work closely to coordinate with dining services, housing facilities, residence life, and the CU environmental center to help create opportunities for increased student awareness of and behavior change around sustainability in a holistic approach of people, planet, and profit (the triple bottom line) practices with emphasis on reducing waste and resource/energy consumption. This position also works closely with resident advisors, the residence hall association, and the national residence hall honorary to further support sustainability change efforts in the residence halls and the broader campus.
