Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (NEEP) seeks qualified candidates for an intern position for its DesignLights
Consortium® (DLC) project either for the semester, or full-time. Interns will work with the DLC team, reporting to the
DLC Program Manager. This job is based in Lexington, MA. Reliable transportation is helpful. Public transport is limited,
but available. Some field travel is also possible.
DLC is the industry’s resource for information and cutting edge technical expertise on energy efficient commercial solid
state lighting solutions. The DLC Qualified Products List (QPL) is NEEP’s largest initiative, serving as a key resource for
energy efficiency incentive programs throughout the US and Canada by distinguishing high performing and energy
saving lighting products from the rest. DLC engages its members (utilities and other energy efficiency programs) with
government agencies, lighting experts, lighting product manufacturers, and lighting testing labs to establish technical
requirements that manufacturers must meet to list their products on the QPL.

Energy Manager, Smith College

The Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) seeks a clean energy intern to work in its office in Boston starting in September 2015. MAPC is a regional planning agency serving the people who live and work in Metropolitan Boston. The clean energy intern will have significant research responsibilities and will work directly with the Clean Energy Division team to develop and implement MAPC’s energy projects throughout the MAPC region.

The SunShot Initiative, Multiple Positions (District of Columbia, DC)

The SunShot Initiative is seeking a program manager and several technology managers in the area of systems integration of solar energy technologies into the electric power grid. SunShot’s Systems Integration team seeks to develop technologies and solutions for cost-effective, reliable, and safe integration of hundreds of gigawatts of solar energy into the U.S. electricity grid. The program manager will serve as part of the leadership team within SunShot and provide visionary leadership of the Systems Integration program, establish strategic direction and goals, provide technical, budgetary and market stewardship, and supervise a team of technical, financial, and support professionals within the program. Technology managers help guide the Systems Integration vision and provide direct input into solar energy research and development efforts.
