Sustainability Programs Manager, Brandeis University (Waltham, MA)

Brandeis University is seeking a Manager of Sustainability Programs. With a dual report to the Executive Director of Facilities and the Vice President for Campus Operations, this person will build and develop a broad campus sustainability program focusing on all aspects of operational practices and campus life, and will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for connecting to research, curriculum, and other university areas. The essential purpose of this position is to lead and coordinate others in pursuit of a more sustainable Brandeis campus.

Sustainability Engagement Manager, University of Calgary (Calgary, AB, Canada)

The Office of Sustainability is currently seeking a Full-time Regular Manager, Sustainability Engagement.

Reporting to the Chief Sustainability Officer, the Manager of Sustainability Engagement is responsible for leading the engagement arm of the Office of Sustainability. This includes planning of best-practice student, faculty and staff engagement programming, and oversight of program implementation, resources, and services to accelerate the establishment of sustainability as an institutional norm.

A.J. Lewis Center Facilities Manager and Community Outreach Coordinator at Oberlin College (OH)

The Environmental Studies Program at Oberlin College invites applications for the position of A.J. Lewis Center Facilities Manager and Community Outreach Coordinator.  This is a full-time, 12-month Administrative and Professional Staff position reporting to the Director of Environmental Studies.  We seek applicants with a combination of strong technical and interpersonal skills who are interested in enhancing the environmental performance and educational value of a facility named the most important green building in the last 30 years by Architect magazine.  Primary responsibilities are: the management and upgrading of the Lewis Center for Environmental Studies, a unique ecologically designed and engineered facility; academic support; communications and community outreach.

Sustainability Manager at American University (Washington D.C.)

Job Description:

The incumbent coordinates the university’s sustainability efforts using STARS (Sustainability Tracking, Assessment, and Rating System), LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), and ACUPCC (American College and University Presidents’ Climate Commitment) and tracks, benchmarks, and analyzes a wide range of sustainability metrics related to sustainability in facilities and operations.

Campus Farm Manager, Duke University (North Carolina)

Durham, NC – The Duke Campus Farm is a one-acre fruit and vegetable farm dedicated to serving the Duke community with fresh, healthy, sustainable produce and providing an educational facility around all things food related.

 

Applications are currently being accepted for the Program Coordinator position with the Duke Campus Farm.  The Program Coordinator is responsible for furthering the mission of the Duke Campus Farm in two primary areas: 1) increasing access to local, organic, and sustainable food on campus, primarily from the Duke Campus Farm; and 2) growing the farm’s role as an educational resource that provides the Duke community with opportunities to engage with the study and research of food, economics, agriculture, human culture, and the environment through academic inquiry and extracurricular activities.
