Brandeis University is seeking a Manager of Sustainability Programs. With a dual report to the Executive Director of Facilities and the Vice President for Campus Operations, this person will build and develop a broad campus sustainability program focusing on all aspects of operational practices and campus life, and will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for connecting to research, curriculum, and other university areas. The essential purpose of this position is to lead and coordinate others in pursuit of a more sustainable Brandeis campus.

The Office of Sustainability is currently seeking a Full-time Regular Manager, Sustainability Engagement.
Reporting to the Chief Sustainability Officer, the Manager of Sustainability Engagement is responsible for leading the engagement arm of the Office of Sustainability. This includes planning of best-practice student, faculty and staff engagement programming, and oversight of program implementation, resources, and services to accelerate the establishment of sustainability as an institutional norm.

The incumbent coordinates the university’s sustainability efforts using STARS (Sustainability Tracking, Assessment, and Rating System), LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), and ACUPCC (American College and University Presidents’ Climate Commitment) and tracks, benchmarks, and analyzes a wide range of sustainability metrics related to sustainability in facilities and operations.
