This includes getting the requirements for spatial analytics from stakeholders as well as defining the interactive analytics that will be one of the cornerstones of our product. Experience with ArcGIS and its various extensions, such as Spatial Analyst; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Access. Ability to manage spatial data with focus on data QA/QC. Senior Software Engineer (Boston, MA)

AIR Worldwide (AIR), a member of the Verisk Insurance Solutions group at Verisk Analytics, is the scientific leader and most respected provider of risk modeling software and consulting services. You will be working in GIS analysis team in developing mapping and spatial analytic features in AIR next generation application. You will be developing mapping data layers, GIS mapping user interface and web services with Microsoft .Net 4.0 C#, WPF/WCF, ESRI ArcGIS and WPF toolkit. You will be developing map data, databases and metadata generation as well as tools to process geo data. 3+ year of software development experiences with object-oriented programming languages. 2+ years of geo data processing and map data development experience with GIS tools. 2+ years of GIS application development experiences in C#, Java or other programming language. Cape Ann Gateway Project Intern (Gloucester, MA)

Intern responsibilities include: Develop concepts to re-create “The Gateway to Cape Ann” that was lost when Route 128 built and then widened. The intern will complete the following tasks: 1. Review property ownership and current uses to help establish a study boundary area 2. Map out existing trails, access points and parking areas within the study area including field walks with a hand-held GPS unit 3. Produce an existing conditions report 4. Propose ideas and concepts to re-connect properties and for gateway areas.
