The program implements RPA principles and objectives in communities of all scales across the region, from dense urban centers to emerging exurban communities. Bard College’s Center for Environmental Policy (CEP) and the Bard MBA in Sustainability seek applicants for a full-time position as Graduate Admissions Assistant. Responsibilities include representing Bard Graduate Programs in Sustainability at graduate school fairs, career fairs, conferences, and other recruiting events, developing and running open houses and information sessions (on-site and online), establishing inquiry/ applicant communication plans, and maintaining contact with inquiries and applicants to assist with the admissions process. We anticipate 8-10 weeks of travel in the fall and 4-6 weeks in the spring representing both CEP and MBA programs. Working on select weekends and evenings is required.
The successful applicant will have a Bachelor¹s Degree, a valid driver¹s license, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be highly proficient in Microsoft Office. Willingness to travel long distances is required. Experience with databases and/or graphic design software is a plus. Previous admissions or marketing experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a professional demeanor, strong organizational skills, and willingness to work in an innovative and flexible environment.
