Duke University’s Parking & Transportation Services office is seeking a part-time TDM Outreach Coordinator to assist with ongoing marketing efforts and customer service activities related to Duke’s sustainable transportation programs. The part-time Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Outreach Coordinator will work up to 20 hours/week helping the Transportation Demand Manager to promote alternative commute options to a population of approximately 50,000 students and employees via print and digital marketing, special events, social media campaigns, and other campus communication channels.
Work requires analytical, communications, and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a bachelor’s degree program, one year of experience in program administration or involving academic, instructional or counseling activities to acquire skills necessary to plan, coordinate and implement a variety of program activities and events, OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE.

Durham, NC – The Duke Campus Farm is a one-acre fruit and vegetable farm dedicated to serving the Duke community with fresh, healthy, sustainable produce and providing an educational facility around all things food related.
Applications are currently being accepted for the Program Coordinator position with the Duke Campus Farm. The Program Coordinator is responsible for furthering the mission of the Duke Campus Farm in two primary areas: 1) increasing access to local, organic, and sustainable food on campus, primarily from the Duke Campus Farm; and 2) growing the farm’s role as an educational resource that provides the Duke community with opportunities to engage with the study and research of food, economics, agriculture, human culture, and the environment through academic inquiry and extracurricular activities.
