The office of Sustainable Skidmore at Skidmore College seeks a full-time Sustainability Fellow. The Fellow position is a full-time, regular appointment. The Fellow reports to the Sustainability Coordinator and works closely with the Coordinator for the Environmental Studies Program, faculty and staff in Student Affairs and Academic Affairs, managers within Facilities Services and Financial Services, Skidmore’s Campus Sustainability Committee, the Office of Student Diversity Programs, the student Environmental Action Club and Sustainability Committees, and other programs and constituencies on and off campus.
The GIS/Conservation Information Manager supports the projects of The Nature Conservancy (TNC) in New York to further conservation work on the land and in the water. S/He oversees GIS and other database programs, provides technical expertise to Conservancy staff and coordinates spatial and database activities between internal teams and external partners. This position will work on projects across New York State, with an emphasis on the work of organizational priorities at the statewide, North American and Global levels.
