Mass Clean Energy Center Intern (MA)

MassCEC is now accepting applications for the fall session of the 2013 Massachusetts Clean Energy Center Internship Program. The Massachusetts Clean Energy Internship Opportunity Program is a workforce development initiative offered through the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) and New England Clean Energy Council (NECEC) that focuses on enhancing the talent pipeline for Massachusetts companies engaged in the clean energy industry. The program provides paid internship opportunities for college students and recent graduates at Massachusetts-based clean energy companies. For the fall session, MassCEC will provide Massachusetts-based clean energy companies with stipends of up to $12 per hour for up to 10 weeks for each full-time intern, with a cap of $2,400 per intern. Business and Neighborhood Development Intern (Boston)

The intern will assist the Director in her daily tasks, which include working with local business owners and City officials, permitting and licensing guidance for new businesses, promoting existing businesses, community outreach and social media. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain and update the website that was just launched this summer. Fall 2012, at least 10 hours, 10 week min, flexible start/finish and schedule. $12/hour or class credit. Urban Planning background preferred Proficiency with Word Press and other web platforms.
