Program Director, The Trust for Public Land (Philadelphia)

The Trust for Public Land, a national non-profit dedicated to conserving land for people to enjoy as parks, gardens and other natural places, is recruiting for a Program Director for the Philadelphia office. This position will manage all aspects of the partnership with the Departments of Parks and Recreation, the School District and the Water Department to redevelop green outdoor recreational spaces at schoolyards and city recreation centers in underserved neighborhoods. The program officer is responsible for the New York City and national environment grants programs and reports directly to the Vice President for Grants. For New York City, the Trust focuses on open space and parks, waterfront and brownfield reclamation, solid waste management, and air pollutants and other environmental toxins. Our national grants program targets climate and energy, environmental health, and habitat protection issues.
